He was predeceased by: his parents, Santos Leal, Sr. and Julia Leal; his wife Mary Ester Leal; and his siblings, Toribio, Antonio, Frances, Beatrice, Lola and Tanis.
He is survived by: his children, Becky Pacheco (Louis), Michelle Leal, Johnny Leal and Santos Leal, III (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Louis Pacheco, III, J. C. Leal, Aaron Leal, Brittany Pacheco, Brandon Leal, Shelby Leal, Steven Sangster, Sierra Leal, Romi Leal, Nasario Elizondo and Olivia Elizondo. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home (118 W Oaklawn Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
