He is survived by: his wife Sharon Steed Carlyon; his great-aunt Mary Vanderlick; his brother Michael Carlyon; his great-nieces, Brenda Ali (Fahad) and Sharon Koger; his great-nephew James Carlyon; his sister Claire Bell of Pueblo, Colorado; his grandchildren, Samantha Spencer Campbell, Jon Michal Spencer, Audrey Clute, Austin Clute, Alex Clute, Isabel Bacosa, Leighton Bacosa, Walter Bacosa, Maryam Ali, Abraham Ali, Aliza Ali and Farah Alli; his sisters-in-law, Mary Beth Nieto-Reyes (George), Judith Chason, Genevieve Schlaegel and Sandy Jonas; and also Leslie Carlyon.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hurley Funeral Home (118 W Oaklawn Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM and from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Carlyon Family Cemetery (1246 St Augustine Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064).
