He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Mae Cumi Deckert (Weaver) and Elmo Deckert; his wife Florence "Flo" Jane Deckert; his children, David Allen Deckert, William Beck, Richard Beck and Claudette Beck; his great grandchildren, Victoria Deckert, Piper Leeann Richardson and Parker Lee Richardson; and his siblings, Barbara Louise Deckert Thompson (L.), Shirley Ruth Deckert Ham (Clarence), Esther Mae Deckert Everett, Earlene Cumi Deckert and Frank "Jackie" Ross Deckert.
He is survived by: his children, Marvin Lynn Deckert (Bonnie) of Fred, Judy Deckert Odom (Steve) of Rockport and Sandy Deckert Hearne of Burnet; and his siblings-in-law, Nelson Lloyd Everett and Beth Riley Deckert. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandsons.
