She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam H. Kennedy Sr. and Myrtle Kennedy; and her son Darrell Dwayne Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband Jerrell Mitchell Sr.; her sons, Jerrell Mitchell II (Nikki), Tommy Mitchell (Jamie Moore) and Jason Mitchell (Tiffany); her brother Cortney Kennedy; and her grandchildren, Tayler, Tommy, Jerrell III, Justin, Meagan, Cade, Skylar, Kenley and Katie. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
