It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert R. Carrasco of Pleasanton, Texas, born in Poteet, Texas, who passed away on March 11, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Crecencio Carrasco and Amelia Carrasco (Ramirez); and his sisters, Margarita Garcia, Chonita Carrasco and Norma Carrasco.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Carrasco (Chapa); his children, Gilbert Carrasco, Jr. (Chris), Beverly Carrasco, Rudy Rodriguez, Jr. (Stephanie), Debra Owen (Thomas) and Karen Lemere; his siblings, Crecencio Carrasco, Jr., Delia Pena (Joe), Gloria Cantu and Mary Lou Mojica; and his grandchildren, Anthony Carrasco (Apichaya), Cody Carrasco (Ellie), Matthew Carrasco, Gavin Carrasco, Jonathan Gilbert Garza, Joseph Garza, Jimmy Garza, Raquel Gruver (Sean), Danielle Rodriguez, Noel Martinez, Austin Rodriguez, Gabrielle Goidel (Spencer), Daniel Owen (Amanda), Dallas Owen, Darrick Owen (Erica), Dominique Owen, Kristin Parr (Jonathan) and Kyle Lemere. He is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren.
