It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elida Hernandez in Pleasanton, Texas, born in Seguin, Texas, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Hernandez; and her parents, Jose Duran and Juanita C. Duran. She is survived by: her sister Lucia Aguilera; her son-in-law Jesus Peña; her great grandchildren, Samuel and Charles; her children, Felix Hernandez (Deborah), Josefina Peña, Anna Castillo (Paul) and Jeanette Moya (Orlando); and her siblings, Jose, Roy Duran, Janie Martinez and Lilly Trinidad. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Catholic Church (626 Market St, Pleasanton, TX 78064). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the San Ysidro Cemetery.
