He was predeceased by: his father Cornelius Valdez; and his brother-in-law Tony Navarro. He is survived by: his mother Maria Diaz Enriquez; his wife Chonita Navarro Valdez; his children, Michellee Valdez (Carlos De Leon Jr.), Marissa Valdez (Andre Vargas) and Miguel Valdez (Christi Arp); his siblings, Andres Enriquez (Meighan Fitzpatrick) and Sherry Lynn Valdez; and his grandchildren, Carlos Xavier De Leon, Marisol De Leon, Amaris Antu, Liam Vargas, Giovanni Valdez, Luciano Valdez and Bella Monroe. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
