He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicasio E. Herrera and Elvira Gonzales Herrera; and his brothers, Nicasio G. Herrera II and Roman G. Herrera. He is survived by: his siblings, Samuel G. Herrera (Nelida) and Felice H. Aguilar (Gregorio); his godson Andrew Olivarri; and his nephews, Rolando H. Aguilar, Elias H. Aguilar, Joshua H. Gonzales, Jeremiah H. Gonzales and Valdemar H. Gonzales. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
