He is survived by: his spouse Laveta Ann Hoffart Malek; his siblings, Diane Wright, Tom and Jerry Malek; and his children, Verena Malek Podraza (Norman), Denise Malek Bielamowicz (Anthony), Steve Malek (Gloria) and Brant Malek (Angie). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
