She was predeceased by: her husband Willard; her parents, Arcade Trahan and Newoley Trahan (Saltzman); her sisters, Verna Gill and Betty Hebert; and her children, Daniel James Abshire and Cecilia Mary Abshire.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Abshire (Cindy) of Plantersville, Norma Fick (Donald) of Plantersville, Ellen Cherry of Plantersville and Donna Allphin (Joel) of Plantersville; and her wife Karren of New Waverly, Texas. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
