Sybil V. Lester Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sybil V. Lester of Plano, Texas, born in New York, New York, who passed away on September 17, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Volgel and Irving Volgel; her husband Bill; and her siblings, Harry and Carolyn Lubovsky.

She is survived by: her children, Heidi Pollack (Wayne) of Mahwah, Elliott Lester (Joyce) of Vero Beach, Florida and Dr. Mark Lester (Anita) of Irving, Texas.; her grandchildren, Adam Pollack, Ross Pollack, Jayne Lester, Kelly Rojas, Jackie Kallman and Andy Lester; and her great grandchildren, Jonah Pollack, Sadie Pollack, Lucy Pollack, Adriana Rojas, Diego Rojas, Leah Kallman and Alex William Kallman.

The family requests considering donations to Caring Hearts at the Legacy Willow Bend and to Brith Shalom Synagogue in Erie, Pennsylvania.
