Rita Soper Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Soper of Plano, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2025 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Soper to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Swierzbin and Blanche Swierzbin; her husband Harold Soper; and her siblings, George Swierzbin and Florence Margherita.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Schpok (Terry) of Dallas, Mary Maisto (Keith) of Portage and Michelle Cunningham (Robert) of Plano, Texas; her grandchildren, Hilary Bierman, Andrea Ross, Kaitlyn Cunningham and Ryan Cunningham; her great grandchildren, Asher Bierman, Sammy Bierman, Zander Ross and Ezra Ross; and her sisters-in-law, Rita Swierzbin and Louise VanSickle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (3109 Swede Ave, Midland, MI 48642). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
