It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion L Brockette Jr. of Plano, Texas, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Marion may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion L. Brockette, Sr. and Sarah Scott Johnston Brockette. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Brockette; his daughters, Emily (Andrew Stern), Rebecca and Ashley Brockette; and his siblings, Mary Brockette Dickson (Clifford), Alan (Beth) and Don Brockette (Kelly). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ted Dickey West Funeral Home (7990 President George Bush Turnpike, Dallas, TX 75252).
