She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda Bender (Schreiber) and Louis Bender; her daughters, Ann Zill Reed (Adrian Zill) and Sarah Zill (James Grau); and her siblings, Janet Siefert (Bender) and Donald Bender.
She is survived by: her husband James Grau of Elkhart Lake; her son Jack Zill (Mary Ellen Gherardi) of Coppell, TX; her son-in-law John Shanklin of Shoreham, NY; her grandchildren, Ariel Spagnoletti of Studio City, CA, Carmen Reed (Josh Greenberg) of Houston, TX, Alice Shanklin (Sundeep Sandhu) of Forest Hills, NY, Laura Shanklin of New York, NY, Claire Shanklin of Washington, DC, Alison Zill of New Orleans, LA, Benjamin Zill of New York, NY and Madeline Howeth (Clayton) of Celina, TX.; and her great grandchildren, Aster, Indi and Ivy Spagnoletti.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center (W2132 Garton Rd, Howards Grove, WI 53083).
