Joan R. Ruestmann Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan R. Ruestmann of Plano, Texas, born in Streator, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eairel Rowe and Carta Rowe; and her husband Gene Ruestmann. She is survived by: her daughter Jane Ruestmann; her son-in-law Monte Borders of Denton; her son Jim; her daughter-in-law Sharon Ruestmann of Plano; her grandchildren, Steven Borders (Erika De), Jordon Ruff (Jonathan), Maggie Borders (Jessy Changstrom), Jake Ruestmann (Jennifer), Sydney Ruestmann (Ronin Klos) and Sophia Carpenter (Landon); and her great grandchildren, Nieko Borders, Jorge Brito, Riley Ann Berry, Jenny Ruff, Emma Borders, Hannah Borders, Mason Ruestmann, Anabelle Ruff, Lucas Ruestmann and Kenna Carpenter.
