She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Ruth and Charles Curtis Simpson, Sr.; and her brother Charles Curtis Simpson, Jr.. She is survived by: her sisters, Gloria Jean Simpson and Sandra Simpson Chiles; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Charley Mitchell, Justin Mitchell, Harmony Mitchell, Liberty Mitchell, Heavenly Mitchell, Justin Mitchell II, James Mitchell and Jackson Mitchell. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church (920 14th St, Plano, TX 75074). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
