He was predeceased by: his mother Sue Ann Nowels Mathis; his pet Thomas P. Gato; his grandparents, Robert, Norlaine Nowels, Ralph and Dorothy Mathis; his aunts, Penelope Howard and Janet Nowels; and his uncle Kenneth Howard.
He is survived by: his father Alan Elmer Mathis; his pets, Biscuits and Gravy; his wife Elisabeth Mathis; his parents-in-law, Sandy Rocka and Tommy Rocka (Sharla); his brother Chris Mathis (Amy); his brother-in-law Joshua Rocka (Roxanne); his nieces and nephews, Mackenzie Dowell (Jordan), Zoey Rocka, Trevor Mathis (Harlee Rose) and Oliver Rocka; his great-niece Ellamarie Dowell; and his great-nephews, Elijah and Easton Dowell. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM and on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM.
