Alan Lorton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan Lorton of Plano, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Alan may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Lorton and Ellen Fouts Lorton; and his sister Lynne Balderson. He is survived by: his wife Shelli Perez Lorton; his stepson James Lemon; his sisters, Carol Gentry (Phil) and Mary Lee Dyer (David); his aunt Kay Beatty (Skip); and his niece Stacy Weirich (Micah). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allen Family Funeral (2112 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75023).
