He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Gandy and L. R. Gandy; and his brother James Gandy. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Grogan; his son David Gandy (Mary O'Neill); his niece Karen Shomaker (Tom Shomaker); his great-nephew Bryson Shomaker; and his nephew Brian Gandy (Jenni Gandy).
