He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Alvin, Sr. and Marietta Eldred (Wornstaff); his grandson Shane Vaughn; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Moore and Karen Noel.
He is survived by: his wife Henriette Eldred of Plainview; his children, Linda Payne (Cliff) of Concord, NH, Cathy Sanders of Broken Arrow, OK, Mandy Williams (Billy) of Canyon, TX, Vicki Kupko (Chris) of Larkspur, CO, Jana Smith of Lubbock, TX, Rhonda Koster, Keila Cude (Shawn) of Munday, TX and Shannon Horn-Eldred (Tim) of Holland, MA; his cousins, George Asiatico (Herta) of Plainview and Ervin Asiatico (Myrna) of Dallas, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Noel of Plainview, Wayne Moore (Myrna) of Plainview and Shirley Rogers of Plainview. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
