She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Edwin Hockenberry and Jackie Hockenberry; and her brother Royal James Hockenberry. She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah Payne and Alethia Payne; and her siblings, Ronald Eugene Hockenberry of Lubbock, Scott Leroy Hockenberry of Lubbock, Leeanna Francis Golden of Plainview, Donna Hockenberry Speers of Plainview and Laura Berry of Post. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
