It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Joyce (Plainview) Wideman of Plainview, Texas, born in Lamesa, Texas, who passed away on October 7, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Linda Joyce shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Linda Joyce farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ouida Harper; and her son Brent Topper. She is survived by: her husband Mark Wideman of Plainview, Texas; and her children, Melissa McNew (Dean) of Henderson, Texas, Randy Wideman (Janna) of Flower Mound, Chad Wideman (Allison) of Lubbock and Chance Wideman of Abilene. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
