He is survived by: his wife Mayela Leal of Plainview; his children, Daniel, Alexsia Marquez of Arizona, Samuel Jimenez of Plainview and Kendra (Trinny Marroquin, Jr.); his stepchildren, Jay of Plainview, Jonathan Lopez of Plainview and Jyra Manciaz of Plainview; his siblings, Jerry Leal of Loredo, Agaston Marquez of Loredo, Ismael Marquez of Hebbronville, Mike of Plainview, Domingo Marquez of Plainview, Jessica Vela of Corpus Christi, Marta Sandoval of Olton and Maria Torres of Plainview; and his grandchildren, Marae and Nehemiah Marroquin.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lemons Memorial Chapel (206 W 8th St, Plainview, TX 79072). A rosary was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (211 W 7th, Plainview, TX 79072).
