He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Saiz and Perla Saiz (Salas); his wife Emma Jo Saiz; his daughter Barbara Waldie; and his brothers, Willie Saiz and Melton Saiz Sr..
He is survived by: his daughter Evelyn M. Saiz of Wisconsin; his stepdaughter Catheron "Sassy" Contreras (Randy) of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Shanandowa Aven, Sonya Rice, Krystal Voyles and T. J. Waldie; and his siblings, Roman Saiz, Jr. of Amarillo and Angie Saiz of Amarillo. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
