It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Morales Jr. of Plainview, Texas, who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jessie Morales, Sr.; and his grandson Samael Lopez. He is survived by: his mother Enedina Salazar; his children, Sean Morales of Lubbock, Cheyanne Gardner of New York, NY, Jacqueline Martinez of Amarillo and Breanna Martinez of Guymon, OK; his stepchildren, Allison Whitehead of Cleburn and Zachary Garcia of Petersburg; his stepfathers, Daniel Marquez of Petersburg, Texas and David Rangel of Amherst, Texas; and his siblings, Julian Andrew Marquez of Lipan, Chris Morales of New Mexico, Elizabeth Morales of Lubbock and Rosa Anna Rangel of Plainview, Texas. He is also survived by one grandchild, and may relatives.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (2001 Main St, Petersburg, TX 79250). A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at the Petersburg Cemetery.
