He was predeceased by: his parents, J. M. Tye and Jessie Tye. He is survived by: his brother John M Tye (Vyrella); and his nephew John M Tye IV.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel (3605 SW 3rd St, Plainview, TX 79072). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
