He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonel Esquivel, Sr. and Aurora Garcia Esquivel; his brother Elizandro Esquivel; and his stepsister Rosa Armendariz. He is survived by: his wife Tina Esquivel of Plainview; his son Nicholas Esquivel (Brandi Esquivel) of Plainview; his stepson Christopher Esquivel; his siblings, Leonel Esquivel of Plainview, Miguel (Teresa Esquivel) of Plainview, Ismael Esquivel (Kim) of Littlefield, Adriana Esquivel of Plainview and Areli Mijares (Ignacio) of Plainview; and his sister-in-law Lola Shackelford (Wallace) of Plainview.
