She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Boedeker and Freda Boedeker; her brother Larry Boedeker; and her sister-in-law Lajuanna Boedeker. She is survived by: her husband Royce Carthel; her brothers, Cecil Boedeker of Amarillo and Merlin Boedeker (Pam) of Lockney; her sister-in-law Pat Boedeker of Plainview; and her children, Fonty Carthel (Ivy) of Plainview, Lanny Carthel (Kim) of Plainview and Danna Griffin (Gregg) of Olton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
