He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Berner (Wally) and Myra Dickson Berner; and also Jimmie Hazen Berner. He is survived by: his sisters, Cindy Smith (Ron) and Denise Kellum (David); and his nieces and nephews, Desley Kellum (Jennifer), Keisha Dawson (Brennin), Shea Tinder Berner (Brian), Brynn Beasley (Chance), Derek Kellum (Abbie), Dean Kellum (Brooke), D'Anna Coleman (Colby) and D'Nae Kellum. He is also survived by eighteen great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Harvest Christian Fellowship (4411 Olton Rd, Plainview, TX 79072). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Holt Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Plainview Stars.
