She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Welton and Agnes Estelle Anderson (Jackson); and her former husband Clarence Odell Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Nixon of Plainview; her children, Vanda Collins (Gary) of Petersburg and Ryan Thompson (Lezlie) of Petersburg; her brother Leon Anderson; her grandchildren, Kurt Collins, Krystal Prater, Trey Thompson and Ty Thompson; her great grandchildren, Cooper Flanagan, Grant Horn, Gage Horn, Kutter Collins, Gavin Horn, Kezlie Thompson and Landrie Thompson; and her great great grandchild Cash Flanagan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Plainview - Kornerstone Funeral Directors (3605 SW 3rd, Plainview, TX 79072).
