She was predeceased by: her parents, John Torres and Marian Torres; her grandparents, Jose and Hermelinda Torres; and her brother Lee Torres.

She is survived by: her husband Jose Garcia; her children, Michael Garcia (Nelly) of Peoria, Nicholas Garcia (Marlene) and Teresa Hernandez of Plainview, Texas; and her grandchildren, Nick Baker, Tony Lee Hernandez, Isaiah Hernandez, Gabriel Cantera, Alina Logan, Nicholas Garcia and Jaylene Garcia.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lemons Funeral Home and Chapel (206 W 8th St, Plainview, TX 79072). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
