He is survived by: his wife Dolores Diaz of Hart, Texas; his children, Mario Diaz of Hart, Texas, David Diaz Jr. (Annette) of Hart, Texas, Olga Diaz Marquez (Raul) of Plainview and Laura Diaz of Plainview, Texas; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Diaz of Plainview, Texas; and his siblings, Juan Diaz of Mexico, Guadalupe Diaz of Mexico and Leobalda Diaz of Mexico. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
