Curtis M. Surley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Curtis M. Surley (Plainview, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Surley and Alma Surley (Bakke); his wife Thelma Hart; his daughter Judy Clark; and his siblings, Pernie Surley, Irvin Surley, Orville Surley, Joe Surley, Anna Marie Simmons, Irma Wilcox and Alice Jeschke.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Hackett (Mark) of Lamesa and Darryl Surley of Plainview; his brother Eldon Surley (Barbara) of Hurst, TX; and his grandchildren, Bryan Hackett (Susan), Kevin Hackett (Kimberly), Melanie Turner (Wesley), Ashley Clark, Brandon Clark and Jordan Clark. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Plainview - Kornerstone Funeral Directors (3605 SW 3rd, Plainview, TX 79072).
