It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amelia (Molly Plainview) Thompson of Plainview, Texas, who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Chris Thompson; her children, Chris Jr. (CJ) and Aaliyah; her brother Mauro (Julia Rocha) of Lubbock; her nephew Dominic; her brother Timothy Shepard of Lubbock, Texas; her nephew Matthew (Alyssa Rocha); her siblings-in-law, Lori Rocha of Cedar Park, Zelma of Amarillo, Annette of Amarillo, Cynthia of Amarillo, Carla of Plainview, Elayne of Houston, Texas, Calvin, Craig of South Dakota and Ray Harris of Dallas, Texas; and her close friends, Isabell, Lucy and Herminia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
A rosary was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Plainview - Kornerstone Funeral Directors (3605 SW 3rd, Plainview, TX 79072). A Mass was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (2801 N Columbia St, Plainview, TX 79072).
