With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alfredo Nunez of Plainview, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alfredo Nunez to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eulalio Nunez and Leonor Martinez; and his brother Ruben Martinez. He is survived by: his children, Joe Anthony Nunez of Lockney, Alfred Nunez, Jr. (Esmeralda) of Lockney, Carlos Nunez of Lockney, Alex Nunez of Newaygo, Michigan and Yuri Nunez (James Newhouse) of Newaygo, Michigan; and his siblings, Eulalio Nunez, Jr. of Lubbock, Margarita Castilleja, Maria Del Pilar Nunez of Plainview and Gracie Nunez of Crosbyton. He is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lemons Memorial Chapel (206 W 8th St, Plainview, TX 79072). A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (211 W 7th, Plainview, TX 79072). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Plainview Memorial Park (100 Joliet St, Plainview, TX 79072).
