He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Roman, Irene Vasquez, Alejandro and Teresa Hernandez. He is survived by: his parents, Antonio Vasquez and Dolores Hernandez Vasquez of Pharr, Texas; his daughters, Gabrielle Vasquez, Gessalyn Vasquez and Genesis Vasquez; the mother of his children Veronica Hernandez of Plainview; his siblings, Tony Vasquez, Andrew Vasquez of Plainview and Rebecca "Becky" Cedillo (Rolando) of Pharr, Texas; his nephew Rolando Cedillo; his nieces, Raquel, Rubie, Roxanna Cedillo, Saria, Genevive and Jaida Vasquez; and his parents-in-law, Guadalupe and Elodia Hernandez. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lemons Memorial Chapel (206 W 8th St, Plainview, TX 79072). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (211 W 7th, Plainview, TX 79072).
His final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ donation, touching the lives of many through this selfless decision.
