It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Langston of Plains, Texas, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Don Langston to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid adieu to Don's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Don has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W Langston and Leota Langston; and his sister Ellenor Wilkison. He is survived by: his wife Gayle; and his daughters, Laurie (Jeff Terry), Amy (Alan West) and Bonnie (Mickey Eckles). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and their spouses, and eight great-grandchildren.
In 2023, he was honored by Lubbock Cotton Growers for his thirty years of service on the board of directors and valued contributions to the gin and farming industry.
