It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chloa Melba Bearden (Plains, Texas), who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Mobley and Ola Mobley; her husband Thomas; her son Thomas "Tommy" James Bearden, Jr.; and her sisters, Louise Cobb, Doris Powell and Joan Humphrey.
She is survived by: her children, Lola Elam (Bob) of Plains and Neal Bearden (Alice) of Plains; and her grandchildren, Amber Bryan (Kristi) of Lubbock, Dusty Bryan of Lubbock, Cleve Bearden (Tessa) of Plains, Shain Bearden (Elly) of Katy, Colby Bearden (Kim) of Plains and Zoey Bearden of Lubbock. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
