He is survived by: his wife Elnora Martaindale of Pittsburg; his children, Pamela Wright (Kenneth) of Harleton and Cliff Martaindale (Sandra) of Daingerfield; his grandchildren, Alex Barron, Charity Stone, Blake Barron, Tammie Newsome, Phillip Mathis, Oscar Barron and Juan Barron; his great grandchildren, Raylee Mathis, Carson Mathis, Aliya Anthony, Easton Mathis, Khyren Barron, Oliver Stone, Sahryiah Barron and Ian Stone; and his brother John Wesley Martaindale (Mona) of Ore City.
