He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernando Ayala and Oralia Salas Ayala; his wife Dora Ofelia Ayala; and his sister Maria De. He is survived by: his children, Ruben Ayala, Jr., Isamari Castro, Alejandra Ayala and Oralia Copado; his grandchildren, Michael Alexander Aguado, Miranda Isamary Aguado, Nathan Copado, Braylee Camila Copado, Addison Ximena Copado and Ezekiel Leonel Ayala; and his siblings, Juan Fernando Ayala Salas, Alberto Alejandro Ayala Salas, Maria Luisa Ayala Salas, Dora Elva Ayala Salas and Martha Alicia Ayala Salas. He is also survived by 28 nieces and nephews.
