He is survived by: his wife Denise Powell; his children, Richard William Powell, Eric Powell, Mike Shaffer, Craig Shaffer, Elizabeth Diano, Jessica Best, Susan Goforth and Brenda Gerson; and his grandchildren, Brittany Alexander, Ryan Best, Michael Shaffer, Daniela Diano, Addison Best, Jordan Goforth, Haley Goforth, Erin Gerson and Aidan Gerson. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
