He is survived by: his wife Lanita Mitchell; his son Marlon Mitchell; his stepsons, Tanner Pate and Tron Pate; his daughters, Elizabeth (John Sciortino), Kathy (Herbie Phillips) and Kimberly (Jim Hinson); his grandchildren, Brittany, Dale, Hillary, Nicole, Madison, Dalton, Jaylyn, John, Samantha, Anna, Makagan, Kyleigh and Willow; and his sisters, Alice Faye Talley and Mary Lou Angel. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
