She was predeceased by: her parents, Ishmael Dillard Fulkerson and Pearl Jeanette Mathews; her son Michael Beard; and her siblings, Larry Fulkerson and Patsy Kennedy.
She is survived by: her daughter LaDonna Young (Stevie); her grandsons, Josh Lindsey (Alex) and Jeremy Lindsey; her great grandchildren, Parker Lindsey, Collins Lindsey and Emily Dewitt; her pet A. K.; and also Ophelia Dooley.
