He was predeceased by: his father Jim E. Teer; his sister Sandy Teer; and his grandparents, William Andrew, Margarene Teer, Buford and Mary Ann Kelley.

He is survived by: his mother Lois Teer; and his siblings, Jena Teer-McGee of New Boston, Texas and Michael (Mary Teer).
