He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Horch and Mollie Reitz Horch; his son Roy Hopton; and his siblings, LeRoy Horch and Virginia Horch.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Robert Horch, Kenny Horch, Lance Hopton, Janet Grimmer (Donald), Roxanne Logan (Greg) and Robyn Eberhardt (Jim); his grandchildren, Ryan, Paris, Bryan, Brittney, Michael, Caitlin, Jenna, Crista and Griffin; his great grandchild Atlas; his sister Thalia Virden (Ron); his niece Elaine; and his nephew Blaine.
