As Dorothy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dorothy. Though Dorothy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, E. L. Roper and Cora Crow Roper. She is survived by: her caregivers, Sherrie Cromer, Lanell Cavender, Ferris Wilkerson and Kimberly McGowen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members as well as her best friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
