It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cora Francis Hefner of Pittsburg, Texas, born in Quemado, New Mexico, who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, H. J. Boardman and Mary Skelton Boardman; her husband Leo; and her sons, Tommy Hefner and Joe Hefner.

She is survived by: her sons, Dan Hefner, Hank Hefner and Paul Hefner; and her sister June Yates. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

The family request in place of flower memorials be made to South Jefferson Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
