She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. E. M. Gordon and Margie Ellen Brasher Gordon; her husband J. G. Avent; and her brother Paul Gordon. She is survived by: her children, Linda Bostic (Art), Ann Crawford (J. Darryl), Rick Avent (Marshelle) and Alicia Dotson (Russell); her grandson Jared Bostic; her daughter Heidi Harmon (Justin); her grandchildren, Milla and Henry; her child Ryan Dotson (Jennifer); her grandchild Ryker; her daughter Kristen Dotson; her grandchildren, MacKenzie and Michael; her children, Hannah Avent and Josh Bostic (Sara); her grandchildren, Emerson, Arden and Grafton; her daughter Leah Avent; and her sister-in-law Robbie Gordon.
