It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Lee Smith (Pipe Creek, Texas), born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on March 26, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Odessa Wilder Dossey and Tom Dossey; her sisters, Lois, Ava Jean and Letta Joyce; her grandson Michael Corson; and her husband Frank M. Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Smith (Rhonda) of Pipe Creek, Texas and Nancy Corson (Don) of Raleigh; her sister Lula Fay Murray of Valley View, Texas; her grandchildren, Matt Corson, Meghann Chonowski (Andrew) and Garrison Smith; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Finn, Sam and Evan Corson; and her nieces, Janice Hill, Sharon Watson, Cheryl Murray and Judy Chapman. She is also survived by extended family members and treasured friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Riverside Baptist Church, Pipe Creek Presbyterian Church or to any Bandera County animal care charity.
