We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Thomas Neil Maddox Sr. of Pineland, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar McNeil Maddox and Mildred Walling Maddox; his wife Barbara Maddox; and his siblings, Eric Maddox and Gloria Jean Howeth.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Neil Maddox, Jr. (Casey Ashimine), Carmen Willis (Brad) of Cushing and Cindy Burns (Joey) of Joaquin; his close friend Sue Bohannon of Hemphill; his siblings, Glen Maddox (Cindy) of Nacogdoches and Elesa Detting of Abilene; his grandchildren, Peyton Maddox, Drake Willis, Cade Willis, Chloe Garcia, Maisie Adkison and Marissa Gortney; and his great grandchildren, Declan, Easton and Raylee.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Starr Funeral Home (510 Starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the West Sabine High School (103 Sloan St, Pineland, TX 75968).
